golden sunset resort

Golden Sunset is a family vacation resort located in Calatagan Batangas. it's a 2 and a half hour drive south of Manila. there's also a van terminal at the basement of a mall beside LRT Rotonda station. Look for calatagan bound van. fare is around 100 pesos.

at the reception. i like the staff, they were warm and friendly. in this picture, i was wearing a souvenir necklace they gave me. i still have it in my room.

i also like their jeeps. when we went to the room, we didn't have to walk and carry our bags, we rode this jeepney! and best of all, it's free!

room is nice and clean. there's complimentary mineral water. i just wished they had bigger tv and cable channels.

the beach. we weren't allowed to swim though, i forgot why.

they have a big fishpond, good for guys who like fishing.

the resort's jacuzzi, exclusive to guests staying in bigger houses but since it's lean season we were allowed to use it.

they have 2 swimming pools. water's cool. kids will definitely enjoy the pools and the giant slide.

i'm such a cam whore, it's alredy nightime but i couldn't stop taking pictures! is there a cure for this?haha!

a hearty filipino breakfast! daing na bangus, atchara, egg, longanisa, pineapple juice, coffee. hay, kakagutom!

merienda na agad?haha! of course, bawal magutom. carbonara and clubhouse sandwich! they have 2 restaurants. we ate breakfast and dinner at the bigger resto. we ate snack at the resto beside the pool.
