caramoan adventure of a lifetime

looking for a place to spend holy week but all the airlines were fully booked. i was thinking of going to bohol or cebu but since it wasn't possible, i thought of a place where i didn't need to ride a plane to get there.
there are not much information about hotels in caramoan and how to go there, but because many countries are already using the island for their version of Survivor, i thought it must be a really beautiful place.
there's a bus terminal at the back of alimall in cubao. mostly were fully booked because many filipinos go home to their provinces during holy week. it was a chaos at the terminal. fares vary depending on the bus company and the kind of bus (ordinary, with aircon, with CR, with lazy boy). usually bus has 2 stopovers, for the passengers to buy meals or use restroom, but the restrooms always have long queue so my advise is take a bus with a CR. we took an air conditioned bus going to Naga, fare was 770pesos. because of the traffic at SLEX, the travel time was 11 hours. we left cubao at 8pm and reached Naga terminal at 7am. we walked in front of SM naga and took a van going to Sabang port. travel was more almost 2 hours, fare was 100 pesos. when we reached sabang port. i thought we wouldn't be able to go to caramoan because there were lots of people and there was no boat at the port. they were not expecting the huge crowd of tourists.
for the first timers in caramoan, one must be prepared for an adventure of a lifetime. i say this because for you to get to the boat you will be carried by a man on his shoulder, unless you prefer to swim and get wet. when we went there, the waves were big and i was praying the whole time i was being carried.i wasn't able to take pictures because i didn't expect what happened. travel time from sabang to guijalo port is 2 hours, so bring foods, drinks and mp3 player.fare is 120 pesos.
guijalo port is better than than sabang port. there are no guys to carry you, but from the boat you need to transfer to a smaller boat, just give the boatman 20-50 pesos. from guijalo we were fetched by villa juliana staff.
villa juliana is not a beach front resort. what i love about my stay here is the food.Mang Roger, the owner, is accommodating and he would always check if we're ok. we had our own table during meal time and even though we're only 2, our foods were always in huge servings! good for 5 people. their ginataang pagi (stingray) is the best!

island hopping tour. some islands were closed because of survivor israel shooting. the crew were staying in gota village. but still, i enjoyed the tour because of the pristine beaches, it's as close to nature as possible.
